We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic events agency based from our office in Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the events industry within the Middle East region, with a proven ability to cultivate client relationships and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and expectations and consistently delivering high-quality experiences.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Middle East events industry, driving growth and increasing the agency's market share.
• Oversee the planning and execution of events, managing timelines, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, and other terms with clients, suppliers, or partners, contributing to the agency's overall profitability.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans, setting goals, identifying the steps needed to reach these goals, and monitoring progress.
• Understand and keep abreast of the latest trends and dynamics in the Middle East events industry, adapting our strategies to remain competitive.
• Use CRM platforms, event management software, and data analysis tools to drive efficiency and inform decision-making.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the events industry, specifically in the Middle East region.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful deal-making.
• Deep understanding of the Middle East events industry, including current trends and effective marketing strategies.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
• Solid project management skills, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
• Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Technical proficiency in event management software, CRM platforms, and data analysis tools.
• UAE Driving Licence with your own car.
• Arabic speaker an advantage.
