1. About the role

Evolution Scenic is seeking an experienced Scenic Project Manager to manage complex scenic projects from initial brief through fabrication, installation and final handover.  The role requires a strong combination of client management, commercial awareness, technical understanding and hands-on project leadership.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of assigned scenic projects from initiation to completion.
  • Review client briefs and develop practical, innovative delivery solutions.
  • Prepare and manage project programmes, budgets, quotations and documentation.
  • Coordinate design, estimating, production, procurement, logistics and installation.
  • Manage client communication, approvals, changes and expectations.
  • Conduct site surveys and assess access, logistics, structural and safety requirements.
  • Manage suppliers, subcontractors and specialist resources. • Monitor project costs, variations, profitability and payment requirements.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality.
  • Complete project closure, reporting and lessons-learned documentation

3. Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum five years’ experience in scenic, events, exhibitions, fit-out or specialist project management.
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Good understanding of scenic fabrication, materials and installation methods.
  • Commercial experience in estimating, budgeting, procurement and cost control.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOQs and construction information.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • UAE driving license and GCC experience are preferred.

Where are Evolution's offices and facilities located?

Evolution operates from major facilities in Dubai and Riyadh — including our 180,000 sq. ft. Dubai hub in Jebel Ali Industrial Area and our 160,000 sq. ft. facility in Riyadh — supporting projects throughout the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. Some positions are office-based, while others involve workshop, warehouse or on-site project environments.
